AI demand drives 4x revenue growth for Chinese firm MiniMax

MiniMax, a Chinese artificial intelligence startup, saw its revenue jump nearly four times to $116.6 million during the first half of the year. This represents a 283.1% increase compared to the same period last year, fueled by the rising popularity of its affordable AI models and services. While the business is still operating at a loss, the deficit decreased to $358 million, down from $402.2 million in the previous year. Additionally, income generated from its AI-focused products saw a 100.9% increase, reaching $42.6 million.
