Ahmedabad Airport begins new hub-and-spoke flight services
Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu and Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol have officially launched 'hub-and-spoke' flight operations at Ahmedabad Airport. Through this new system, two daily flights connecting via Delhi will link Ahmedabad to 15 global destinations, all within a transit time of four hours. Passengers can check their 32-kg luggage directly at the starting airport. Ahmedabad now serves as the third spoke airport to be integrated into India’s International Aviation Hub Strategy.
