At the 2026 World Robot Conference held in Beijing, China, a 90-year-old military veteran showcased a robotic exoskeleton. Dressed in his formal army attire, the man initially had difficulty rising from his wheelchair. After securing a robotic belt device, he was able to ascend a flight of stairs comfortably, remarking, "It feels so effortless."
