7.1-magnitude quake causes damage to Japan's Kumamoto Castle

Kumamoto Castle, a historic site in Japan, sustained damage on Tuesday when a strong 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck the southwestern island of Kyushu. Footage captured the moment a section of the 400-year-old structure's wall fell during the intense tremors. This landmark had previously undergone significant repairs after suffering heavy damage in a 2016 earthquake. Authorities in Japan also briefly put out a tsunami alert after the seismic event.
