55 additional air quality stations to be set up in Delhi-NCR this year
An official stated that the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) is set to deploy 55 new continuous air quality monitoring units throughout the Delhi-NCR area before the year concludes. This initiative will increase the total count of active stations in the region from 102 to 157. Once completed, the project will ensure that there is one monitoring station for every 25 to 50 square kilometres.
