5-year-old boy recognized by Union Minister for planting 1,400+ trees in Chandigarh
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan felicitated five-year-old Rudransh Upadhyay, the son of an Army officer, for his efforts in planting 1,455 saplings throughout Chandigarh, Panchkula, and the Chandimandir Cantonment. Rudransh launched his own initiative, the Rudransh Green Mission, which has successfully kept 1,427 of those trees alive. During the ceremony, Chouhan presented him with a cash reward of ₹10,000 and a plant sapling.
