40 passengers stuck after boat loses fuel in MP's Chambal River
On Sunday, a steam boat carrying about 40 individuals became stuck in the middle of the Chambal River close to Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, after it ran out of fuel. The vessel was reportedly operating without any life jackets on board. Morena District Magistrate Lokesh Jangid stated that local officials arranged for diesel to be delivered to the boat so it could be refueled. He confirmed that the boat was able to make it back to the shore and that every passenger remained unharmed.
