₹2.95 cr in assets seized from Maharashtra official caught accepting ₹10,000 bribe
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has found assets valued at close to ₹2.95 crore at the home of a Maharashtra official. Kiran Purushottam Chaudhary, a state government officer, was taken into custody on June 26 for allegedly taking a bribe of ₹10,000. During raids at his house in Jalgaon, investigators seized ₹1.53 crore in cash, more than 400 grams of gold, silver ornaments, and real estate valued at over ₹62 lakh.
