During the demonstration led by Yogi Youth Brigade state president Kunwar Ajay Tomar, protestors trampled and set fire to her posters. Tomar also declared a reward of ₹1.51 lakh for anyone who cuts off the actress's tongue. Bhasker subsequently clarified her stance, stating she did not refer to Rani Padmavati or the other women who committed jauhar as cowards.
