150 Pakistani brides reach India for weddings after visa issues
More than 150 women from Sindh, Pakistan, who were betrothed to Indian men, have successfully arrived in India. This comes months after the Wagah border was shut and visa processes were halted due to Operation Sindoor. The brides reached out to the Shadaani Darbar in Sindh, which subsequently requested assistance from the Home Ministry. Permission was granted for them to travel by air rather than the usual land route. To reach their destination, the women had to travel through transit hubs including Dubai, Oman, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
