12 motorcyclists penalized ₹1.2 lakh for unauthorized riding in Ladakh wildlife zones

According to an official statement on Tuesday, the 12 motorcyclists were collectively charged ₹1.2 lakh for entering ecologically fragile areas surrounding Lake Moriri. Additionally, a tourist operating an SUV in the vicinity of Pangong Lake was hit with a separate fine of ₹50,000.
